"More Fun Than A Barrel Of Squid"
Ancient Balka Aphorism

There are many magicians in the world, even more persons from Eastern Europe, but only a small percentage of entertainers who make audiences laugh, whether they are performing for a six year old, teenager or diplomat.

One who fits the bill is Ashkenazi The Pretty Good, and there's only one of him! That’s probably for the best – we’re not sure the world could bear two of him. His mother had trouble just baring one of him.

Mentored by Kevin A. Madden, the founder of MusicAndMagic.com, Ashkenazi The Pretty Good has honed his skills not just in the art of magic, but in the art of being with children. Mr. Madden has taught in public schools in two countries for over six years, and Ash (as he is affectionately known to his friends) benefits from the training and feedback that Mr. Madden has given him. (Hint – look closely at the picture of them sitting on a couch below!)

Ash’s philosophy about performance is that magic is anything but presenting a puzzle to be solved, or embarrassing kids. It is instead one of the world’s oldest art forms; a theater art whose purpose is to entertain. The kids (and parents!) will walk away with an amazing moment or two stuck forever in their head, but more importantly, they will walk away having had a good time.

Performing since the tender age of 14, Ashkenazi The Pretty Good is as much fun as a barrel of monkeys, without the big mess to clean up after the show. And kids do go ape for him!

The amount of audience participation can be tailored to your need. Please fill out our contact form or call for pricing information.

About "Ash"
Ashkenazi The Pretty Good has been entertaining audiences in three countries since the tender age of 13. His father was the court magician to the King of Balka, which is somewhere in Eastern Europe. Don't try finding it though, it's too hard. There is now a Burger King where his bedroom at the castle used to be. He doesn't like to talk about it.
